24 Hour Care Our veterinary team is available for medical and surgical care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We have the capability to handle any equine emergency; from colic (medical and surgical) and sick foals to lacerations, we have the ability to provide the necessary care. We have around the clock support and a camera monitoring system to ensure full care of your horse.
Our team of experienced veterinarians are able to diagnose and treat in-depth medicine cases. We have endoscopy, gastroscopy, ultrasound and an in-house CBC/Chemistry analyzer. We have access to multiple outside labs to submit tests not currently ran in-house. When necessary, our team will consult with specialists that are board certified in Equine Internal Medicine.
A pre-purchase examination consists of a thorough examination of the horse; including a lameness and neurological evaluation. Radiographs are routinely taken to further evaluate the horse. We can also perform blood tests if requested (CBC/Chemstry Panel, Drug screen, etc.). This is not a pass/fail test, but we will gather the data and present it to the buyer who ultimately makes the decision on the purchase of the horse.
